NATURE SCHOOL ADVENTURERS

(Wednesdays 9am - 12pm age 7+)

If you wish for your children to feel confident, comfortable and experience the outdoors in all seasons from the heat of the summer through to the cold of the winter, this is the program for them.
We will meet at new location every week based on the weather, seasons and cycles.
There will be a short hike into the base camp location were we will set up for the day.
The children will carry their own gear (including a mini survival / tool kit) which they may use for things like removing introduced/ invasive species of plants, bush-crafting, nature journaling, searching for treasure, practicing basic first aid etc.
Each week the children will find a sit spot to spend 10 minutes drawing something in their nature journal to help them remember the adventure.
There will be plenty of learning opportunities such as plant identification, animal tracking, survival and earth based skills and nature connection games.

NATURE SCHOOL THURSDAYS

(Thursdays 9am - 12pm, age 4+)

Nature School Thursdays is an outdoors program for children age 4 and up.

Through learning traditional / ancestral skills, bushcraft, natural movement and nature awareness your child will gain the skills and experience to feel safe and at home in the wilderness.

Each week the children will learn new and different skills from starting fires and cooking on them through to water purification, shelter building, basket weaving, foraging, woodcraft and much more.

Children will have plenty of unstructured time to roam free, play and interact with children of all ages like our hunter gatherer ancestors.

(Fridays 9am - 12pm, age 6+)

Nature School Fridays is an outdoors program for children age 6 and up.
