NATURE SCHOOL ADVENTURERS
If you wish for your children to feel confident, comfortable and experience the outdoors in all seasons from the heat of the summer through to the cold of the winter, this is the program for them.
We will meet at new location every week based on the weather, seasons and cycles.
There will be a short hike into the base camp location were we will set up for the day.
The children will carry their own gear (including a mini survival / tool kit) which they may use for things like removing introduced/ invasive species of plants, bush-crafting, nature journaling, searching for treasure, practicing basic first aid etc.
Each week the children will find a sit spot to spend 10 minutes drawing something in their nature journal to help them remember the adventure.
There will be plenty of learning opportunities such as plant identification, animal tracking, survival and earth based skills and nature connection games.

9:00am - 12:00pm
AGE
Nature School Adventurers is currently for ages 7+ siblings under age 7 are welcome to come along on the adventure(if they can keep up).
WHAT TO BRING
A backpack big enough to carry all of their own gear.
Adventure kit will be provided.
Minimum of 1L of water (more may be needed in the summer).
Any food, drinks or snacks you may like.
Shoes/boots for walking through various types of terrain (rocky, muddy, sandy etc)
Weather appropriate clothing
Wet weather gear when necessary
Sun protection when necessary.
Change of clothes for afterwards when necessary
PARENTS
It is required to have at least one parent or guardian present for each child or group of children.

Term 1: Jan 31st - March 27th
Term 2: April 17th - June 12th
Term 3: July 17th - Sept 11th
Term 4: Oct 9th - Dec 4th
BOOKINGS
We have a total of 20 spaces available each week.
If you wish to secure a spot for the term you must sign up for the full 9 week term (15 spaces available)
We also have 5 spaces available each week for casual bookings (however these can book out).
