With the evolution of Wild Movement Perth, the time has come to change the way we offer the ‘Nature School’ experience.
Although it will no longer run in school terms as it has done over the years, we are excited to offer incursions, pop up classes and private bookings in various locations around Perth, WA.
Whether you would like to create an experience for your homeschool co-op, have us visit your school or workplace or would like to arrange a private booking, we are looking forward to share the Nature School experience with you.

ABOUT NATURE SCHOOL
Children today are growing up in a world very different from what our biology expects to experience.
Surrounded by technology, screens and artificial light, our kids are deficient in time outdoors connecting with nature.
Most could benefit from more time exploring creeks, catching grasshoppers, climbing trees, building shelters, making bow and arrows.
Nature school helps kids to feel comfortable in the outdoors during all seasons, from the heat of the summer to the cold of the winter.
Together we will explore natural environments, practice and learn earth based skills, as well as how to identify different plants and deepen our connection to the outside world.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
- Children age 4+
- We don’t really have a cut off age limit for the kids, if they want to come they’re welcome, we often have 12-13 year olds.
- Younger siblings are always welcome to come along.
PARENT REQUIREMENTS
- a parent or guardian is required to stay for the duration of the lesson.
- sometimes we will be going on big hikes, be in or near water, using sharp cutting tools etc.
NATURE SCHOOL PRIVATE BOOKINGS
We love creating the ‘Nature School’ experience for scout groups, schools, workplaces + homeschool communities. To enquire about a private booking please contact us on 0431535992. There is a minimum of 10 people required for a private booking.
We can create an experience by request.

5 Weapons in 5 Weeks - Friday 2nd January - Friday January 30th
WHEN
- Fridays starting January 2nd finishing January 30th
WHERE
- Northern Suburbs (locations given upon booking)
TIME
- 9am - 12pm
AGE
- Age 4+ (teenagers also welcome)
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Week 1 we will go through tool safety learning how to use a knife and saw in a bushcraft setting.
- Each week we will learn about and craft a different weapon.
- Week 1 Wooden Sword
- Week 2 Bow and Arrow
- Week 3 Shepard Staff Sling
- Week 4 Sling Shot
- Week 5 Spear With Broad Head
WHAT TO BRING
- Dress appropriately for the weather
- Any food or water you may want
- Any tools you may already have and comfortable using (not required as tools will be provided)
